About the Designer
Stephanie Lavoie, a Los Angeles based designer and entrepreneur, has always tracked the pulse of fashion. Beginning at an early age, she was constantly drawn to style, color, and pattern. While earning her degree in fashion design, she began a career which has built a broad repertoire of experiences, learning all facets of the industry, all the while knowing that her ultimate dream was to create her own line of handbags.

The only thing to do was to start at the beginning. Stephanie knew she had unique ideas, a love of design, a creative streak and a strong sense of style. Once her designs really took shape, they garnered enthusiastic responses. She acquired a local following by hosting sample sales and creating special occasion custom bags. She consistently heard from past clients who raved about all the compliments their Siren bag received. This was more than enough encouragement for Stephanie to formally begin her line.

Constantly thinking outside of the box and realizing that women’s affinity toward handbags may be a result of their desire to bring their unique personalities to the exterior, Stephanie officially started Siren Handbags in early 2004.
